PRINCETON — Beverly Younggren, 90, of Princeton, previously of Buda, died at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Aperion Care in Princeton.
Beverly was born March 3, 1928, in Kewanee to Michael H. Dailey and Myrtle O. Dailey. Beverly lost her parents at an early age and was adopted by parents, Henry “Dick” Trickle and Margaret Snyder Trickle in Toulon. All are deceased. Beverly married Donald Younggren on Nov. 20, 1949. He survives.
Beverly graduated from Toulon High School with the class of 1945. She was a partner with Donald at the grocery store in Buda.
She was a member of the Coal Creek and Hidden Lake Country Club in Sheffield, and enjoyed many years of golf. Beverly was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Sheffield.
Also surviving are three sons, William (Deborah) Younggren of Sheffield, Dane Younggren of Kewanee and Gregory (Pattie) Younggren of Belleville, Wis.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Bollin; two brothers, Robert Daily, age 9, and Robert Burke of Denmark, Iowa; and a daughter-in-law, Melanie Younggren.
A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, at St. Patrick’s Church in Sheffield with Father Mark Miller officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at St. Patrick’s Church on Saturday.
