Blood drive planned

SEATONVILLE — The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive Friday, July 13, at the Seatonville Community Church (formerly the Seatonville Congregational Church Independent). Walk-ins are welcome or appointments can be made by calling Pastor Bill Jacobsen at the church at 815-894-2697 or his cell phone at 815-228-7617.

Adamson-Polson reunion

PRINCETON — The Adamson-Polson reunion will be at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, July 15, in the Zearing Park shelter in Princeton. Each family should bring a meat dish, another covered dish, table service and cold beverage.

Bands to present concert

PRINCETON — The Princeton area Summer Youth Band and the Princeton High School Band will present a concert at 6 p.m. Sunday, July 15, at Soldiers and Sailors Park in Princeton. Admission is free and lawn chairs are suggested. In case of rain, the concert will be moved to Pannebaker Gym at Logan Junior High School.
