Farm producers’ seminar coming up on July 24

Register by July 16; tax reform, grain marketing and cyber crime updates planned

PRINCETON — CliftonLarsonAllen, the Bureau County Farm Bureau and FS Grain will offer a seminar for farm producers on Tuesday, July 24, at Wise Guys in Princeton.

Sessions are designed for individuals involved in production agriculture who are interested in strategies to improve profitability and plan for the future.

Keeping pace with agribusiness and the issues impacting local farms’ growth and sustainability is a full-time job. This evening workshop will walk participants through how to plan for changes being introduced by tax reform, as well as help them take the next step in utilizing technology in their operations. Register now to attend and find out what’s new and important in the agriculture industry.

Topics will include: tax reform and impact on farmers; tax planning opportunities; grain marketing update; using technology to aid in marketing; and cyber crime and IT security.

Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. with dinner. The seminar will follow. This event is complimentary for anyone involved in production agriculture.
