LASALLE — The Illinois Valley Symphony Orchestra Guild will host its annual luncheon meeting and membership drive on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Senica’s Oak Ridge Golf Club in LaSalle.
The Guild is actively seeking new members, women and men, to share passion and support for this talented, hardworking, local treasure. The annual meeting is a review of the previous year’s activities and information and plans for the upcoming concert season.
Founded in 2005, the Symphony Guild is a non-profit organization that supports the symphony by providing ushers and flowers for the concerts and receptions for special occasions. Additionally, the Guild has funded the harp position in the orchestra over the past few years. Annual membership dues are $25.
Membership is open to all residents of the Illinois Valley who have an interest in the arts. For more information about membership and to reserve a seat at the luncheon meeting, contact Vicki Marshall, 815-431-0194, or Charlotte Oglesby, 815-224-3740, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
