Hall High School announces homecoming week activities

SPRING VALLEY — Hall High School in Spring Valley has slated Homecoming events for the week of Sept. 17-21. Homecoming T-shirts, tickets and mums are currently for sale at the school during lunch.

Dance tickets are $20 per couple and $10 per single. The last day to buy tickets is Sept. 14. Mums and T-shirts are also being sold during lunch for $10 each through Sept. 12. Seniors may purchase a tie-dye shirt for $20.

Students will decorate sheets for their clubs/classes to show Red Devil pride. Those interested should see their sponsor for details.

The dress-up days for homecoming are: Monday, Sept. 17, Family Picture Day; Tuesday, Sept. 18, Staff Picture Day; Wednesday, Sept. 19, Movie Day; Thursday, Sept. 20, Meme/Vine Day; and Friday, Sept. 21, Red/White Class T-shirt day.

The homecoming parade will be at 5 p.m. Thursday, with line-up at 4:15 p.m. at Hall. Any community group or organization wishing to be in the parade should contact Kayleen Loch at kloch@hallhighschool501.com or 815-664-4500, ext 113. The community pep rally will be held in the football stadium immediately following the parade. The Powder Puff game will take place immediately after the pep rally. All class attendants and king/queen candidates will be announced during pep rally.

The king and queen will be crowned at the end of the pep rally.

The sophomore football game will start at 5:30 p.m. Friday. The Introductions of class attendants, queen and king candidates, and king and queen will take place between games. The varsity football game will begin at approximately 7:30 p.m. The Devilettes will perform at halftime of the varsity game. The Red Devils will be playing the St. Bede Bruins.

The homecoming dance will be held at Hall High School in the White Gym from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Couple pictures begin at 6:30 p.m. in the hallway outside the White Gym. The dance is sponsored by the Class of 2019, under the direction of Kayleen Loch and Kayli Biccochi.
