EUREKA — The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference may be renaming its Special Teams Player of the Week honors after Tanner Kuhne soon. The junior kicker from Princeton picked up the league's award for the first week of the season, marking the fourth time in his career to have received the award.
Kuhne made perfect on seven PAT attempts in the Red Devils' 49-24 win in last week's season opener at Knox.
Kuhne, who set Eureka's single-season record for extra points last season with 47, has 57 successful extra points in his career, third-most in the modern era of Eureka football.
The Red Devils routed Iowa Wesleyan 38-6 at home Saturday. Kuhne kicked three PATs, with two blocked, and a 40-yard field goal
