Seatonville Community Church will host gospel concert

SEATONVILLE — The Seatonville Community Church will host a gospel concert at 7 p.m. Oct. 6, featuring the Assemblymen Gospel Quartet. The concert will follow the family banquet to honor fathers and sons.

This will be the quartet’s 28th year in music ministry. The men feel blessed to have had the opportunity to bring the word of God through music to churches in the Midwest, to bring an evening of fun and ministry to congregations that are not able to bring in the full-time professional groups.

The banquet will be a potluck dinner with meat, bread and beverages to be furnished. There is no charge to attend the banquet or concert except each family should bring a dish to pass and there will be a love offering collected for the quartet. The public is encouraged to attend both the banquet and concert or the concert only.

Reservations for the banquet can be made by calling the church at 815-894-2697, Pastor Bill Jacobsen at 815-228-6717 or Mary Michael at 815-875-1697. No reservations need be made for the concert.

The church is located at 110 U.S. Highway 6, Seatonville.
