MANLIUS — Ashleigh O’Brien, 18, of Walnut has been named the recipient of Bureau Valley High School’s September Central Bank Senior Spotlight. Her parents are Sean O’Brien and Jennifer Johnson, and she has a brother, Brennan.

Activities you participate in: Captain of the Bureau Valley Dance Team, National Honors Society, vice president of Home Ec Club and Advanced Science Club.
Do you have a job? Yes, I work at Avanti Foods and Niel & Shorty’s BBQ.
Describe your group of friends: Fun, kind and caring.
What will you do after high school? I plan on hopefully attending the University of Wisconsin - Madison to get my degree to become a veterinarian.
One thing in your life you can’t do without? My animals!
What scares you? Heights.
Anything else you want people to know about you? I love to dance, go shopping, and spend time with my friends and family. I am allergic to gluten.
