Battery

Dalton A. Solomon, 18, of Mineral was charged with two counts of battery in the 500 block of West South Street in Annawan at 8:35 a.m. Oct. 2.

Deer accidents

A vehicle driven by Heather N. McAlvey, 45, of Walnut struck on deer in the intersection of Route 26 and 2500 North Avenue, north of Kasbeer, at 7:45 a.m. Oct. 6.

A vehicle driven by Marcy K. Dzurisin, 46, of Princeton struck a deer on Route 26 near 2460 East Street, northwest of Bureau, at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 30.

Traffic stops

Kellie R. Schutz, 18, of Walnut was charged with speeding on 2125 North Avenue near 1100 East Street, east of Manlius, at 3:16 p.m. Oct. 2.

Lawrence W. Griffin, 67, of Rockford was charged with speeding on 2100 North Avenue near Route 34, northeast of Dover, at 2:06 p.m. Oct. 4.

Brady R. DeBruhl, 19, of Ohio was charged with speeding on Railroad Avenue near Main Street in Arlington at 5:36 p.m. Oct. 4.

Alejandra Bermudez, 24, of Kewanee was charged with speeding on Kentville Road near 1525 East Street, southwest of Tiskilwa, at 3:26 p.m. Oct. 5.

Accidents

Following a traffic accident, a 16-year-old boy was charged with driving with no valid driver’s license on Route 34 near 200 East Street, west of Neponset, at 12:43 a.m. Oct. 5.

A two-vehicle accident involving Carl L. Jones, 48, of Chicago and Pedro O. Solorzano-Garcia, 23, of Des Moines, Iowa, occurred in the rest area parking lot on Interstate 80 near mile marker 51, west of Princeton, at 1:13 a.m. Oct. 6.

DUI

Eduardo Morales, 20, of Princeton was charged with illegal transportation/possession of alcohol, illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, driving under the influence and stopped in the roadway on 1250 North Avenue near 3065 East Street, east of DePue, at 5:49 p.m. Oct. 6.
