Frances ‘Tiny’ Wall

KEWANEE — Frances O. “Tiny” Wall, 84, of Kewanee passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Frances was born May 8, 1934, in Horsecave, Ky., the daughter of William R. and Josie K. (Jeffries) Crain. She was united in marriage to Erline R. Wall on Dec. 25, 1953, in Kewanee. He preceded her in death in 2009.

Frances graduated from Wyanet High School. She was employed at Champion Co. in Princeton for several years and later at Harper-Wyman Co. in Princeton for 23 years. She retired in 1995.

Frances enjoyed the outdoors, and loved to go fishing and mushroom hunting. She was known for, and loved to, entertain guests in her home while Erline was serving in the military.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Carl C. Wall of Mapleton; two daughters, Lori (Tim) Conley of Florida and Teresa (Roger) Schoutteet of Kewanee; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Genevia Travis of Wyanet.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, William and Josie; her husband, Erline; a son, Curtis Wall; and six brothers and three sisters.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, at the Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory, Atkinson Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from noon to 1 p.m. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.

Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
