Obituaries

Betty Bimm

PERU — Betty Lou (Graham) Bimm, 90, of Peru passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2018, at Manor Court in Peru.

She was born Oct. 21, 1928, in Wyanet to Bert and Katherine (Stillwell) Graham. She was a 1946 graduate of Wyanet High School. She married Charles L. Bimm on Feb. 22, 1947, at the Congregational Church in Wyanet.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church in LaSalle and accepted Jesus as her Savior in March of 1941.

Survivors include three children, Peggy (Gary) Olson of Peru, Bonnie (Ronnie) Glynn of LaSalle and Greg (Connie) Bimm of Chicago Heights; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; her sister, Sandy (Jess) Galetti of Ladd; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, on Oct. 5, 2010.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at the Mueller Funeral Home in Peru with the Rev. Lee Iseley, pastor of the First Congregational Church in LaSalle, Pastor Oscar Shepherd of Faith Church in Peru and Pastor Diana Kurtz officiating. Burial will follow in the Peru City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jon Rossman, Alex Pozzi, Ron Glynn, Mark Glynn, Jeff Bimm and Blayne Bimm.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the LaSalle-Peru High School band or to the family.
