PRINCETON — Allyn Frank May, 71, of Princeton passed away on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton surrounded by loved ones.
Allyn was born in Princeton to Lloyd and Alyce (Kreiger) May on Sept. 21, 1947. He was a graduate of Princeton High School and married his love, Sue McDonald, on Jan. 5, 1979, in Princeton. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and worked as a farmer.
He was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves from 1965 to 1971. Allyn was also a member of the Illinois Farm Bureau, and enjoyed collecting old tractors and going to tractor pull events. He loved spending time with his family and his loving wife of almost 40 years, Sue.
He is survived by his wife, Sue; his son, Justin (Rita) May; four grandchildren; and one brother, Pete (Karen) May.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will be having a private service at a later date.
