Pancake breakfast in LaMoille

LAMOILLE — The LaMoille Lions Club will host an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Lions Club, 308 Howard St. in LaMoille. The menu will include pancakes, eggs, sausage, ham, toast, milk, juice and coffee. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for ages 5-10 and free for kids under 5 years old. All proceeds will support the Ohio Booster Club.

PPSF Trivia Night

PRINCETON — The Princeton Public Schools Foundation’s 11th annual Trivia Night will be Saturday, Feb. 23, at A Hundred Acres Orchard in Princeton. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and trivia will begin at 7 p.m. The minimum donation is $15 per person. Snacks, desserts and a cash bar will be available. No outside food or drink will be allowed. Participants must be 21 years to play. Teams are limited to eight players. First-place winners will receive $300, second place will receive $200 and third place will receive $100. Drawdown planned

PRINCETON — The Shadows of The Blue and Gray drawdown will be Saturday, March 9, at the Princeton Moose Lodge. Tickets are $40. The event will also include a silent auction and door prizes. The tickets also allow dinner for two. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be at 6 p.m. Cash prizes will be $750 for first, $500 for second and $250 for third. Lipid profile and glucose screenings will be offered

SPRING VALLEY — St. Margaret’s Hospital will offer a lipid profile and glucose screening from 7 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, in the hospital’s First Floor Presentation Room. The $25 fee includes a check of cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL and LDL. A 12-hour food and beverage fast is recommended for more accurate results. Registration is recommended by calling St. Margaret’s at 815-664-1486.

Heart health program

TISKILWA — To celebrate National Heart Month, the Tiskilwa Public Library will host Jan Pistole, registered nurse, Perry cardiac rehabilitation coordinator, from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26. She will share her knowledge and provide tips to improve your heart health and wellness.

Pancake breakfast in Manlius

MANLIUS — The Bureau Valley FFA will host a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at Bureau Valley High School. The menu will be pancakes, sausage patties, coffee, juice and milk. A donation is asked.

Open Table supper in Walnut

WALNUT — The Walnut United Methodist Church will host an Open Table supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20. This is a free meal. The menu will be scalloped potatoes and ham, green beans, bread and dessert.
