Resale shop moves to larger Walnut location

Pass It Along adds furniture to inventory

WALNUT — Pass It Along resale shop in Walnut has announced it moved to a new location at 120 S. Main St., next to the Walnut Cafe, because the shop has outgrown its previous location.

Pass It Along is a not-for-profit resale shop that gives the proceeds back to the community. To date, Pass It Along has given more than $100,000 over the past five years.

Organizers note this is quite an accomplishment because most items in the shop sell for 50 cents.

With the extra space in the new location, furniture will be added to the previous inventory of used clothing and household items.

Store hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

“If you have not visited this resale shop, it is worth the trip to Walnut,” a news release stated.
