PRINCETON — Finders Keepers Resale Shop has moved to uptown and is now located in the former Knox hotel building at 956 N. Main St.

The move happened over the past weekend. The first open day of business in the new location was Tuesday.

Tania Foley, store manager, said the resale shop was looking for a better location to increase profits for the animal shelter, and the building on Main Street seemed to be the right fit for the shop’s needs.

Finders Keepers is run entirely by volunteers. Proceeds from the shop benefit the Friends of Strays animal shelter.

The resale shop has been in business for six years. This is its third location. The first was on Backbone Road East next to Prime Quarter Steakhouse, and the second was on North Euclid Avenue across the street from the city’s former recycling center.

Foley, who is also treasurer for the shelter, said the organization is always looking for more volunteers to help run the shop and the shelter. Donations are also always welcome.

The resale shop is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
