PRINCETON — Donna A. Keener, 89, of Princeton passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019, in St. Joseph Nursing Home in Lacon.
Born Sept. 8, 1929, in Canton, Ohio, to Homer David and Flora Agnes (Ancel) Hall, she married John “Bill” Keener Sr. on June 20, 1953, in Toronto, Ohio. He preceded her in death.
She had worked at the Bureau County Republican, Princeton Variety and the Chillicothe Savings and Loan.
She was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church in Princeton.
She is survived by her children, John W. (Valerie) Keener Jr. of Princeton, Daniel (Yolanda) Keener of Silver Spring, Md., and Rita (Les) Huddle of Lafayette, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Christopher Keener.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Princeton with Father Daniel Gifford officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Princeton.
Her family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 16, in the chapel of the Fiocchi-Jensen Funeral Home in Princeton, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
