Scenes from the Bureau County 4-H Fair
PRINCETON — The annual Bureau County 4-H Fair was held this week at the fairgrounds.
4-H youths from all around the county gathered to showcase the projects they’ve worked hard on through the year.
Project categories included livestock, photography, foods, animal sciences, computers, health, interior design, journalism, woodworking, video, electricity and much more.
The fair uses conference-style judging where youths get to speak to judges about their work.
Each project earns a blue, red or white ribbon, and the exceptional projects can earn a trophy or plaque and are sent on to be judged at the Illinois State Fair.
