Deer accidents

A vehicle driven by Lane S. House, 65, of Sheffield struck a deer on 2300 North Avenue near 600 East Street, southwest of New Bedford, at 8 a.m. Sept. 4.

A vehicle driven by Connie L. Lind, 66, of Princeton struck a deer on Route 26 near 2150 East Street, south of Princeton, at 6:20 a.m. Sept. 9.

Accidents

A vehicle driven by Francis Landando, 80, of Mineral went off the roadway in the intersection of Route 6 and 300 East Street, east of Mineral, at 4:06 p.m. Sept. 1. Landando was transported by Sheffield Ambulance Service to Perry Memorial Hospital for injuries.

A vehicle driven by Garrett I. Pistole, 19, of Walnut went off the roadway in the intersection of Route 92 and 1175 East Street, west of Walnut, at 2:19 a.m. Sept. 8.

A vehicle driven by Lynn M. Floyd, 28, of LaMoille lost control and went off the roadway on Plank Road near Route 89 in Cherry at 5:29 p.m. Sept. 5.

DUI

Following an accident, Keaton J. Wagenknecht, 24, of Walnut was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, illegal transportation of alcohol and no valid registration in the 100 block of North Main Street in Walnut at 2:44 a.m. Sept. 1.

Domestic battery

Joseph P. Wojcik, 33, of Ohio was charged with domestic battery and interfering with a domestic battery report in the 100 block of North Washington Street in Ohio at 10:04 p.m. Sept. 5.

Angelica Medellin, 29, of Arlington was charged with domestic battery in the 31000 block of 2050 North Avenue in Arlington at 10:16 p.m. Sept. 5.

Traffic stops

Cassiday T. Mitchell, 23, of DePue was charged with speeding on Route 29 near Briar Cliff Drive, west of Spring Valley, at 6:17 p.m. Sept. 1.

Luke M. Alcazar, 19, of Des Plaines was charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle on Route 40 near 1925 North Avenue, south of Manlius, at 6:56 p.m. Sept. 1.

Piro S. Degane, 35, of Joliet was charged with no valid driver’s license on Interstate 80 eastbound near the Exit 45 ramp, north of Buda, at 9:19 p.m. Sept. 1.

Jacob S. Schmitt, 27, of Buda was charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding on Kentville Road near 1100 East Street, southwest of Providence, at 6:57 a.m. Sept. 4.

Austyn C. Briddick, 18, of Malden was charged with speeding on Angling Road near 2900 East Street, southeast of Zearing, at 8:49 a.m. Sept. 5.

Michelle D. Siebert, 49, of Lacon was charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle in the 800 block of South Main Street in LaMoille at 3:08 p.m. Sept. 6.

Jose L. Diaz, 19, of Mendota was charge with speeding on Route 26 near Kansas Street in Bureau at 4:03 p.m. Sept. 7.

John A. Oberli, 51, of Lombard and Kurt W. Field, 58, of Joliet were both charged with speeding on Route 6 near 1200 East Street, west of Wyanet, at 4:11 p.m. Sept. 7.

Kaleb J. Bryant, 20, of DePue was charged with speeding on Route 29 near 1285 North Avenue in DePue at 4:26 p.m. Sept. 7.

Sylvia A. Escatel, 23, of LaMoille was charged with speeding on Route 89 near Interstate 80 in Ladd at 6:01 p.m. Sept. 7.

A 16-year-old boy was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and graduated driver’s license violation on Route 6 near 1800 East Street, west of Princeton, at 4:07 a.m. Sept. 8.

Charles A. Reed, 50, of Putnam was charged with speeding on Route 6 near 1200 East Street, west of Wyanet, at 5:42 p.m. Sept. 8.

Christine L. Calvert, 50, of Van Orin was charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle on Route 34 near 1900 North Avenue, southwest of Dover, at 7:19 p.m. Sept. 8.

A 16-year-old boy was charged with speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle on North Street near Illinois Street in Dover at 7:39 p.m. Sept. 8.

A 17-year-old boy was charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding on Route 89 near Plank Road in Cherry at 8:42 p.m. Sept. 8.

Warrant arrest

Omar A. Bejarano, 41, of Durham, N.C., was charged with resisting a peace officer in the 25000 block of 2790 North Avenue in Van Orin at 11:29 a.m. Sept. 3, while being picked up on a Bureau County warrant for violation of order of protection.

Mark A. McConnahha, 46, of Charleston was picked up in the 200 block of Walnut Grove in Walnut at 8:36 a.m. Sept. 2 on a warrant.

Failure to reduce speed

Following an accident, Colton J. Bader, 21, of Princeton was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident on Kentville Road near 2150 East Street, southeast of Tiskilwa, at 10:27 a.m. Sept. 2.

Following an accident, Adrian M. Hollis, 27, of Kewanee was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident on East Center Street near Station Street in Neponset at 1:19 a.m. Sept. 4.
