LAMOILLE — Bobby Wilson is going back to where he came from.
The LaMoille- Ohio Lady Lions basketball coach has resigned after three seasons as head coach, previously serving as assistant coach, to return to Eureka College where he coached from 2011 to 2014. He said it was a very difficult decision.
“L/O has a lot coming back, 8 out of 9 girls potentially. Plus, I care a lot about those girls, because my wife and I have been the only coaches they have had,” he said. “At the end of the day the opportunity to return to the college level was presented to me and I just couldn’t pass it up. My dream and goal my whole life has always been to be a college head coach and to do that I need to be coaching college basketball.”
Wilson’s Lady Lions went 23-56 the past three seasons, 4-19 last year.
