The day started with students and staff heading to the playground to plant a tree and sing Earth Day songs. In the afternoon, students in K-2 walked to the Walnut Manor and sang Earth Day songs. After returning to the school, the students in grades 6-8 joined them in working together to clean up garbage around the school, playground and Park District area.
