
Created: Tuesday, February 20, 2007 12:00 a.m. CDT Updated: Tuesday, May 19, 2009 5:20 p.m. CDT Bureau County BoardBy Donna Barkerdbarker@bcrnews.comPRINCETON — The Bureau County Board conducted the following business at its meeting Thursday night at the Bureau County Courthouse in Princeton: • Heard the new exterior handrails installed at the courthouse cost about $18,000, rather than the expected $24,000. • Entered into a federal aid agreement with County Highway 33 to make the road into a Class 3 truck route, with weight loads up to 80,000 pounds. • Approved appointment of James Nickelsen to the Bureau County Zoning Board of Appeals. • Approved a six-lot Orchard View Estates subdivision in Princeton Township. • Postponed discussion and action on the AgriWind letter of credit and decommissioning plan. • Heard an update from Loretta Volker on activities at the Bureau County Health Department, including a dental sealant clinic and the Tar Wars poster competition. • Heard Prairie View Healthcare had a $76,000 loss, prior to depreciation, in December. |
