PHS pom pon squad receives awards

PRINCETON — Members of the Pom Pon squad were honored for their work recently, at Uptown, for a “girls night out”, where “Top Banana” awards were presented by Pom coach Lani Swinford.

Each pom member received a participation award engraved with the current school year. First-year squad members were Nicole Kerr and Emily Park. Receiving a chenille P patch for their participation as two-year squad members were Melissa Zehr, Lisa Foehring, Alyssa Donner, Kendra Bickett and Taylor Salesberry. Three-year members Kylie Merth, Kelly Madsen, Paige Harrison and Katie Galassi received ribbon pins. Fourth-year member Lauren Holschbach received a pom key chain. As seniors, Holschbach, Galassi and Salesberry also received special charm bracelets.

Sportsmanship honors went to Zehr and Galassi. Trophies for most supportive was awarded to Zehr; Foehring for most improved; Galassi for most dedicated; and Holschbach for most valuable.
