Breaking news ... Greg Bowman dies in motorcycle accident

PRINCETON — Princeton attorney Greg Bowman died Sunday as the result of a motorcycle accident south of Stockton in JoDaviess County.

A complete police report is pending, as are funeral arrangements.

Princeton Deputy Chief Allan Beaber remembered Bowman as a good friend, hard worker and family man. Beaber and Bowman shared a mutual love for history through their participation in the Shadows of the Blue and Gray Civil War Re-enactment.
