She was welcomed home by one sister, MacKenzie Rae. Maternal grandparents are Dave and Karen Taylor of Sheffield. Paternal grandparents are David and Kim Allen of Ottawa. Great-grandparents are Mick and Dorothy DeFauw of Sheffield, and Shirley Taylor of Buda.

Marcos and Lauren (Gill) Ponce of Reston, Va., are the parents of a daughter, Sofia Claire, born Sept. 23 at Virginia Hospital Center. She weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces, and measured 21 1/4 inches in length. She was welcomed home by two sisters, Alicyn Olson (Ponce), 9, and Hayleigh Olson (Ponce), 9. Maternal grandparents are James and Bonnie Gill of Simpsonsville, S.C. Paternal grandparents are Robert and Angelica Ponce of DePue.
