Breakfast planned

BUDA — The Buda-Neponset Rescue Unit will hold a pancake and sausage breakfast from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Buda Community Hall.

Monthly session

PRINCETON — Rich Foss, a weekly newspaper columnist and local writer, will host a monthly session for aspiring and working writers called “Writing with a Flair”. The session will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 28 at the Princeton Public Library. It is scheduled to continue on the fourth Thursday of March and April. The Julia Cameron book “The Right to Write” will be used for the session.

Blood drive

PRINCETON — The Bureau County Metro Center will have a Red Cross blood drive from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday. The first appointments will start at 2:15 p.m. and the last appointment will be taken for 5:45 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call (815) 872-0840.

Trivia Night

SENICA — Waltham Elementary will hold a “Trivia Night” on March 7 at Senica’s Oak Ridge Golf Course Banquet Hall on Route 6 near Utica. Registration will begin at 6:30 p.m. There will be a minimum of six per table, with a maximum of 10. The cost is $10 per person. To reserve a table, call (815) 667-7049.

Meeting set

PRINCETON — Professional Home Economists of Bureau County will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Nancy Stetson, 4574 US Highway 34, Neponset. Those who wish to carpool should meet at 1 p.m. on the south side of Soldiers and Sailors Park in Princeton. Movie night

PRINCETON — The Perry Memorial Hospital 60 Plus Program will sponsor a free movie night at 6 p.m. March 20 in the White Oak Classroom at Perry Memorial Hospital. The event will include the movie, popcorn and beverages. Tim Schultz, RRT, Director of Respiratory and Sleep Lab at Perry, will share information on Perry Memorial Hospital’s Sleep Lab and treatment of sleep disorders.
