Employees Club sponsors May Day basket competition at MTM

The Employees Club of MTM Recognition in Princeton recently sponsored a May Day basket competition. This was volunteer team competition, and the teams selected the charity where the baskets would be donated. The eight teams that participated and their charity were Jewelry II Team to Friends of Strays; West Customer Service Team to Orchard View; Accounting Team to Food Pantry; Shipping Team to Bright Beginnings Preschool; Central Customer Service Team to Cathy Elliott; Antique Jewelry to Freedom House; Gift Assembly Team to Princeton Fire Department; and Rescue Unit and South Customer Service Team to Zearing Child Enrichment Center. The teams were very creative and innovative in what was included in the baskets and how the baskets were decorated. A couple of the baskets had poems to go with the theme of the basket. First place was awarded to the Jewelry II team with its Pet Kennel Basket, that was given to Friends of Strays. The team will receive a pizza lunch. (Photo contributed)
