PRINCETON — The University of Illinois Extension – Bureau County Office is offering a new program, “Real Colors for Kids” for kids ages 8-12. This youth event is from the Family Life Educational Program, which is part of the Bureau County Youth Develop-ment Coalition.

This program is designed to teach about personality types and how to communicate better. “Real Colors for Kids” is a two-day workshop including group activities and time to create your own self-portrait.

A “My Pyramid” lunch is included each day from the University of Illinois-Bureau County Extension Family Nutrition Program.

“Real Colors for Kids” 2008 workshops will be offered in the communities of:

Sheffield — from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday and Thursday.

Bureau — from noon to 2 p.m. July 2-3.

Malden — from 10 a.m. to noon July 9-10.

Registration is required. You can register by calling the University of Illinois Extension Bureau County Office at (815) 875-2878. Space is limited. Location information will be given at the time of registration.
