Agricultural summary for June 23

Weather conditions this past week were much drier, allowing producers to finish up planting throughout most of the state. Other areas weren’t as lucky, as some levees broke. Standing water is still prevalent in a few fields, but wheat harvest is underway in southern Illinois. There is still fear of flooding along the Mississippi River in some areas.
