AgVenture PureLine Seeds of Princeton and Iowa’s AgVenture ProfiSeed, based at Hampton, Iowa, will each benefit from Zeeb’s executive leadership in this new post. “Brian has exceptional leadership skills.” said Jim Groepper, AgVenture vice president sales and marketing. “His personal and professional experience combined with his attitude and foresight make him a strong young executive who’s ready to grow our AgVenture brand. His connection to production agriculture and experience in the seed business are already serving us well.” An Illinois native, Zeeb has earned respect across the two-state area among growers and seed professionals alike. A graduate of Northwestern University, Zeeb returned to the family farming operation and expanded that business after college. He held an Illinois grain dealer license while representing DeKalb and Asgrow brands as a seed salesman in south-central Illinois. He was hired by Wyffels Hybrids where he rose in the ranks to obtain the post of regional sales manager serving Iowa. “AgVenture’s business model has successfully grown the independent regional seed company market segment over the 25 years that model has been deployed,” Zeeb said. “It approaches the seed business unlike any other company. In terms of growth, potential and its ability to get growers the best choices and solid seed performance, this company is where I want to be.” “Brian has the vision to take these two companies to yet another level,” Groepper said. “As with our seed genetics and traits access, we are always ready to find the right individual for the right job. Our AgVenture team continues to grow in strength, depth and ability across the country. Brian will be a key factor in helping serve Iowa and Illinois growers." |
