Seatonville Village Board

SEATONVILLE — The Seatonville Village Board took action on the following items at its meeting June 9:

• Heard from two residents regarding a rodent problem at a neighboring residence and questions about the Yucus Subdivision.

• Heard the finance committee was still getting prices for the storage shed roof repair.

• Discussed contact with Village Attorney Ray Nolasco regarding the condition of a property.

• Discussed sidewalk and park projects.

• Heard that AmerenIP has supplied a street light map for the village.

• Discussed a driveway tube that is being crushed. Village President Rick Piontek will check on it.

• Discussed drainage and high shoulder problems.

• Discussed the filtration plant.

• Discussed a resident who is allowing a dog to go onto another resident’s property.

• Discussed the seed limit on Peru Road.

• Thanked Piontek for purchasing flowers and Vicki Piontek and Christi Welgatt for planting the flowers in front of the village hall.

• Approved the prevailing wage ordinance as presented.

• Approved eliminating the $1.50 10/33 Ambulance Surcharge effective with the May billing because it is levied with the appropriations.

• Approved bills for payment in the amount of $4,915.44.
