2008 Direct Counter-Cyclical Payment Program sign-up

The Bureau County Farm Service Agency Office, located at 312 E. Backbone Road in Princeton, would like to remind area farmers enrollment for the 2008 Direct Counter-Cyclical Payment Program began June 25 and will end Sept. 30. The enrollment period is much shorter than in previous years and as a result, producers are encouraged to contact the FSA Office immediately to initiate the enrollment process. The office will be enrolling producers in the DCP Program and processing acreage reports. Appointments are encouraged, but not required. Enrollment into the 2008 DCP Program can be completed in the office, by fax or on-line (if producer has registered).
