Final entries announced in this year's PJWC baby contest

PRINCETON — The Princeton Junior Woman’s Club has announced the final 11 entries in the 2008 Bureau County Homestead Festival Baby Contest.

Final entrants include Cainee Marie Bohnsack, 11 months, the daughter of Chad and Chanda Bohnsack of Princeton; Dakota Zerfax, 10 months, the son of Kristina Metz and Dave Zerfax of Princeton; Ryann Lynn Shue, 8 months, the daughter of Jennifer Smrekar and Steven Shue of Dover; Dylan Morehouse, 9 months, the son of Darcie DeFord and Tim Morehouse of Princeton; Cadience Marie Bickett, 4 months, the daughter of Tyler Bickett and Jessica Donna of Malden; August Peter Anderson, 11 months, the son of David and Victoria Anderson of Wyanet; Addison Lampley, 6 months, the daughter of Ann Larson of Tiskilwa and Kenny Lampley of Malden; Brenden Piacenti, 8 months, the son of Jeremy and Dana Piacenti of Tiskilwa; Micheal Robert Allen Cunliffe, 13 months, the son of Sarah Cunliffe of Princeton; Jayden Elmore, 15 months, the son of Katie Harbour and Chris Elmore of Dover; and Delilah Frances Goreth, 8 months, the daughter of John and Ashley Goreth of Princeton.

Voting will begin Saturday and continue until Sept. 12. The photos will be displayed in the main lobbies of Amcore, Centrue and Citizens banks. The photos will be in each bank for one week. Each photo will have a canister in which votes can be cast. One dollar equals one hundred votes. The boy and girl with the most votes will be the winners. There will also be a girl runner-up and boy runner-up.

Prizes will be given to the winners, as well as the runners-up. All winners and their parents will also have a spot in the Homestead Festival parade.

The PJWC will donate all proceeds from the contest back to the community and various non-profit organizations within Bureau County.
