PRINCETON — Eleanor M. McCann, 84, formerly of Streator, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 2008, at Orchard View Rehabilitation and Health Care in Princeton.

She was born June 7, 1924, in Kankakee to Fred and Emma (Ratliff) Belthezar.

She attended Streator schools and nursing school in Ottawa. She retired from Monte Casino Health Care in Toluca in 1995 as a registered nurse.

Surviving are three sons, Thomas Bradish of Texas, Frank (Chris) Bradish of Hunting and Paul Bradish of Ashville, N.C.; one daughter, Theresa (Robert) Waltz of Spring Valley; one sister, Mary Penley of Tennessee; one brother, Joe Mitchill of Elkhart, Ind.; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Elaine Harris; one sister, Mildred; one brother, Clarence; and one great-granddaughter, Faith Eleanor Hassler.

Services will be at noon Wednesday in the Winterrowd Funeral Home, Streator. Cremation rites will be accorded after the services.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the March of Dimes.
