Meet the Candidates breakfast planned in Bradford

PRINCETON — As the November election rapidly approaches, the Stark, Bureau and Marshall-Putnam Farm Bureaus have joined together to host a “Meet the Candidates” breakfast focusing on those individuals seeking election to represent the 18th Congressional District.

The program will be Sept. 11 at the First Baptist Church, located at 111 Bonita Ave., Bradford. A light breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m., followed by the program.

Candidates Colleen Callahan, Aaron Schock and Sheldon Schafer have confirmed their attendance and will be given an opportunity to introduce themselves. Plenty of time will be allotted for questions from those in attendance. Whether you would simply like to ask a few questions of the candidates, or if you haven’t had an opportunity to meet all of the candidates.

Directions to the First Baptist Church can be obtained by contacting your County Farm Bureau. Reservations, which are requested to allow room and food preparations, can be made by contacting the Bureau County Farm Bureau at (815) 875-6468 by Thursday.
