Spring Valley Senior Apartments to hold meeting

SPRING VALLEY — An informational meeting will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Community Room at Spring Valley City Hall, 215 N. Greenwood St., regarding the Stough Group senior housing project currently under construction.

Qualifications and housing features will be discussed. Alexis Mitchell, leasing and tenant manager for the Stough Group, will conduct the presentation and question and answer session. Names will be taken of any interested attendees.

Spring Valley Senior Apartments is a privately owned and managed senior citizen complex. Currently, 50 one-bedroom apartments located in 10 single story brick buildings are being constructed at the intersection of Strong Avenue and Fourth Street.

Residents of Spring Valley who meet the qualifications have first preference on leasing. If not all apartments are filled, relatives of Spring Valley residents who meet the qualifications, will have second preference. Third preference will be former residents of Spring Valley.

If enough interest is shown, an additional 50 units will be constructed in 2009.
