Dr. Lori Schultz

PRINCETON — Dr. Lori Schultz recently attended a symposium on nutrition and chiropractic titled “Conquering the Obesity Epidemic.” The symposium was held Sept. 20-21 at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

The symposium involved several different speakers including nutritional experts, research specialists and chiropractic professors. Topics included nutrition with aging, weight loss strategies, childhood obesity and sleep apnea.

The keynote speaker was Morgan Spurlock; the Academy Award nominated director for “Super Size Me” and “30 days.” Spurlock spoke about the rising of obesity in the United States, which has lead to an astronomical increase in diabetes in adults and children.

Dr. Schultz is a chiropractor who has practiced at the Farrell Chiropractic Clinic for 22 years.
