Sheila Heth receives National Endowment grant

MANLIUS — Sheila Heth, Bureau Valley High School art instructor, wrote and received a grant from the National Endowment For the Humanities entitled “Picturing America”. The 40-piece collection of art reproductions introduces all ages to our nation’s history and culture through great works of American Art. The collection includes painting, sculpture, photographs, architecture, and Native American pieces.

Also included with the reproductions is a teacher’s resource book containing information on all of the images and suggestions for using them in a wide range of subject areas. The reproductions are also on display throughout the school.
