Ladd CIA discusses Christmas Walk

LADD — The Ladd Community Improvement Association met Sept. 24  and discussed the Christmas Walk, next year’s Summer Fest and purchasing a flowering tree for Main Street. The association welcomed a new business, Big Guy and Sons, to Ladd. At least 20 people will attend the Home Town Project awards ceremony Oct. 20 in Springfield. Ladd won awards for the World War I statute restoration and for erecting a wall honoring local veterans who served in the armed forces since World War I.  The next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 22.
