TOULON — The Henry/Stark Unit of the Illinois Retired Teachers Association held its meeting Nov. 12 at the First Congregational Church in Toulon. The theme for the day was The Power of Food and Friendship.

Officers elected for the coming year were co-presidents Sue Busenbark and Phyllis Dotson; Jocelyn Saline, vice president; Jean Mann, recording secretary; Carol Lee Cole, treasurer; Karen Ramsey, corresponding secretary; Larry Lock, health insurance and member benefits;  Barbara Morrison, public relations and Roger Hawk, Past President. Sue Busenbark presented outgoing president Roger Hawk with an appreciation gift and her thanks for his service to the organization.

The executive board will hold an organizational meeting at 9 a.m. Jan. 12 at the Good Morning Coffee Shop in Kewanee. The next regular meeting will be held March 11 in LaFayette.
