Patricia Morse

ELMWOOD — Patricia M. Morse, 82, of Elmwood died at 3:53 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Born March 5, 1926, in Ellisville, Ill., to Oliver and Grace (Griffith) Marston, she married Max Morse June 20, 1953, in Princeton. He survives.

She was a former school teacher for the Tonica, Yates City and Elmwood school districts.

She was a former EMT for BYE Ambulance Service and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Elmwood and Order of the Eastern Star.

Also surviving are four children, Mark of Hendersonville, N.C., Fred (Dawn) of Oak Park, Jama (Jeff) Kriz of Eden Prairie, Minn., and Amy (Roger) Kepple of Elmwood; and 11 grandchildren, Amy, Stephen, Michelle, Benjamin, Nicholas, Zachary, Amanda, Elizabeth, Emma, Daniel and Samuel.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Gill and Ruth Gaynier.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the First Presbyterian Church, Elmwood, with the Rev. Gene Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the Elmwood Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home, Elmwood, and one hour prior to the services in the church.
