TISKILWA — A new listing of Tiskilwa High School graduates, from the first graduating class in 1878 to the final group in 1995, has been published by the Tiskilwa Historical Society. The previous directory was during the school’s centennial year in 1978. Copies are available for a donation of $15 at the Society’s Museum on Main, the Valley Market on West Main Street and the Bead Buzz in Princeton across from the Prouty Building.

Within its cover is the history of Tiskilwa schools. The 88-page booklet includes 15 photographs and architectural renderings, reproductions of early commencement programs and the names of more than 2,500 graduates.

Those who pre-ordered booklets may pick them up any Saturday at the Museum on Main. Out-of-towners can request them at the Tiskilwa Historical Society, Box 87, Tiskilwa, IL. 61368. We will mail the booklet for a postage fee of $2. For questions, call Mary Jo Gustafson at (815) 875-6293.
