John and Tonya (Blumhorst) Yetter of St. Louis, Mo., are announcing the adoption of Shamon David Yetter on Dec. 18. He is in second grade and enjoys drawing, Transformers and riding his bike. He is welcomed into the family by Shane 10, Theo 10, Kaycee, 4, and Mayanna, 4. Maternal grandparents are Harvey and Ethel Blumhorst of Malden. Paternal grandparents are Beatrice Yetter of South Elgin and the late Robert Yetter.
