PRINCETON — American Legion Post 125 of Princeton has available on hand one- and two-star banners for purchase to honor family members who are currently serving their country in any branch of the military. The Post also has new 3-by-5-foot American flags on hand for purchase as well. For more information, call the post home or leave a message at (815) 872-1171 or (815) 872-7891 in the evenings.

Concert planned

LAMOILLE — The LaMoille Ministers’ Council will hold a sacred music concert performed by the 60-member Moody Bible Institute Symphonic Band at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 16 in the Allen Junior High School gymnasium on Main Street. A freewill offering for the Moody Bible Institute will be received during the concert.

Flag disposal

PRINCETON — American Legion Post 125 of Princeton will dispose of faded, torn, tattered American flags. Flags may be dropped off in the container inside the vestibule at the post home, located at 1549 W. Peru St. in Princeton.
