HCCA bus trip

PERU — The Heritage Corridor Community Associates will sponsor a bus trip to the Chicago Art Institute and Orchestra Hall, Symphony Center for lectures and a muscial program.

The event will be hosted by Jeff Nigro, director of adult programs for the AIC, and Gerad McBurney, creative director for the SCO. Discussion of the art and music of the times will be woven with images of art by Munch and his contemporaries.

There is an optional lunch at the Stock Exchange Trading Room at the AIC. After lunch, a self-guided tour of Edvard Munch exhibit will be available for with an AIC membership card.

Bus pick-up will be available in Peru, Ottawa and Morris. The cost for the seminar, lunch and exhibit is $86. The cost for the seminar and exhibit only is $62. This event is open to HCCA members only, but prospective members may contact Susie Meehan, membership chair, at (815) 524-3396. Reservations are due Monday to Roseann Webb by calling (815) 224-2740.
