Bradford students in music contest

BRADFORD — Twenty-six Bradford Junior High School band and chorus students participated in the solo and ensemble contest at Henry Senachwine Grade School March 13. Twenty-four students played or sang solos and 13 students were in four ensembles.
Receiving a first rating were

Eden Endress, xylophone solo; Kristy Kieser, xylophone solo
Nate Horrie, snare drum solo; Charlie Lotspeich, vocal solo; Charlie Lotspeich, trumpet solo; Fernando DeVargas, vocal solo; Logan Hoffert, trombone solo; Lindsey Hoffert, trumpet solo; Kendall King, xylophone solo; Luke Kieser, tuba solo;
Carlie Bickett, snare drum solo; Hunter Klemme, trumpet solo; Kristyn Ehnle, clarinet solo; Kaylah Weir, tenor sax solo; Christian Redmond, alto sax solo; Molly Carlton, Lindsey Hoffert, Miranda Kiesewetter, Caitlin Scott, girls double duet; Hannah Holland, Alexis Redmond, clarinet and flute duet; and Hunter Klemme, Sam Merrill, David Walker, trumpet trio.

Receiving a second rating were Alex Dries, clarinet solo; Michael Lotspeich, vocal solo; Sam Merrill, trumpet solo; Caitlin Scott, vocal solo; David Walker, trumpet solo;
Alex Dries, Brycelyn Elliott, Kim Gunning, Hannah Holland, clarinet quartet and Hannah Holland, piano solo.

Sheila Lindsey received a third rating for vocal solo.

Gary Black, Mary McKean and Sharon Lynn Patrick accompanied the students. Debbie Sayers is the band and chorus instructor.
