Jimmy Buffett night

PRINCETON — The Princeton Moose Lodge will host a Jimmy Buffett night beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday. The Moose will serve cheeseburgers in paradise and play all the favorite Buffett songs. Participants are invited to dress in their favorite Buffett attire. Reservations are due Friday to Kent Harmon at (815) 875-1180 daytime or (815) 879-3101 evenings.

PCA performances

PRINCETON — Princeton Christian Academy will present the classic play “Pollyanna” at 7 p.m. April 17 and 18 in the Princeton Bible Church auditorium. The play is adapted from the timeless novel by Eleanor Porter. The public is invited to attend. There is no admission charge, but a freewill offering will be taken both nights to help cover the expenses of the production. The play is directed by Marty Kiser.

Diagnostic clinic

PRINCETON — The Princeton Elks Lodge, in cooperation with the Illinois Elks Children’s Care Corporation, will sponsor a free diagnostic clinic for children with orthopedic problems on April 16 inside the front, north door of Perry Memorial Hospital. Children up to 21 years of age, with orthopedic problems, are invited to attend for evaluation. Appointments need to be made in advance by calling (815) 872-8731.

Bake sale

PRINCETON — The Princeton Wesleyan Youth Sunday School class will have a bake sale at 9 a.m. Friday in Citizens Bank’s South Main Street lobby.

Legion meeting

SPRING VALLEY — American Legion Dominic O’berto Post 182 will meet today, Thursday, at 6 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Club rooms, 307 W. St. Paul St.
