Date/Place of Birth: June 12, 1991, Fort Hood, Texas.

Likes: Books, piano, graphic novels, acting, musicals, writing, movies and listening to music.

Dislikes: Politicians, math, Wall Street, mornings.

Person with greatest influence on my sports career: My dad. He taught me to play softball, helped me when I threw discus and still hasn’t given up trying to make me throw right.

Person with greatest influence on my life: My parents. They have always been there to help me through life no matter what happens.

If stranded on a desert island, I would have my: Books. A CB radio wouldn’t hurt either.

The CD in my player at home/car is: Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys.

People would be very surprised to know that: I am actually very shy around new people.

I stay home to watch: “House MD.”

When I need luck before a big game I: Listen to my iPod.

The funniest person(s) I’ve ever met and why: My mom and my best friend, Tricia, when she’s had too much coffee. Good times.

What they’ll say about me at my school after I graduate: That they all miss me terribly.

Most embarrassing moment: I ran into a glass door at Culver’s and chipped my tooth. Don’t ask how.

Most unforgettable moment: My trip to Arizona/California this past February with my best friend.

Ultimate sports fantasy: It’s the bottom of the seventh. Bases loaded, down by four, full count with two outs, and I, of course, get a grand slam. I will settle for just a home run though.

What do I plan to do in life: Go to school for journalism, teach high school English, and ultimately write a book.

Three words that best describe me: Eclectic, geeky and opinionated.
