Erin Lafferty of Shorewood and Scott Cooper of Shorewood were united in marriage March 28 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nev.

The bride is the daughter of Randy Lafferty of Princeton and Julie Fogarty of LaSalle. The groom is the son of Dr. Dean and Beverly Cooper of Kankakee.

Sarah Winne, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Brian Cooper, brother of the groom, served as best man.

After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is making their home in Shorewood.

The bride is a graduate of Princeton High School and Western Illinois University. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in elementary education.

The groom is a graduate of Kankakee High School and the University of St. Francis. He is a district sales manager for BrasselerUSA.
