Shoup — Scott and Hollie (Pendarvis) Shoup of Rochester are the parents of a daughter, Kara Elyse, born April 28 in Springfield. She weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces, and measured 21 inches in length. She was welcomed home by one brother, Ryan. Maternal grandparents are Colleen and Lyle Pendarvis Jr. of Ohio, Ill. Paternal grandparents are Virginia and John Shoup of Belle Plaine, Iowa.

Cullen — Raymond and Evelyn (Pagan) Cullen of Princeton are the parents of a daughter, Natalia Iraida, born April 29 at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton. She weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces, and measured 21 inches in length. She was welcomed home by two siblings Nathanie, 3, and Tyler, 1.

Strohmaier — David and Jessica (McClenning) Strohmaier of Lacon are the parents of a daughter, Katelynn Makenzie, born May 3 at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley. Donaway — Doug and Lindsey (Murray) Donaway of Sheffield are the parents of a son, Noah Michael Dean, born May 1 at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton.
