GOSHEN, Ind. — Aaron Kaufmann of Tiskilwa is participating in the Goshen College study-service term in Jena, Germany, with 10 other students during the summer semester.

Students spend the first half of the 13-week term studying the
language and the culture of the country in Jena and the second half of the term fulfilling service requirements, often relating to their majors.

Kaufmann, a freshman majoring in collegiate studies, is the son of Phillip and Pamela Kaufmann of Tiskilwa. He is a 2008 graduate of Princeton High School and attends Willow Springs Mennonite Church. He left for Germany on April 29 and will return to the United States July 28.
